'Natsukashi' is a collection of tunes that I wrote, with a little help from my friends, between ages 19-34. Despite the potential inconsistencies of being recorded over a fifteen year span with different collaborators in various parts of NJ, NY, and BC, the songs seemed to fit together as a single project. I call the project 'Demodog' because all the tracking was captured clandestinely and assembled later so, ultimately, it's all just propped-up demos. Finally, the exact definition of "natsukashi" is a bit elusive in English but to the best of my understanding, it is the feeling of longing for a time that is past. Seeing as these are musical musings of yesteryear, it seems an appropriate title. Thanks for listening.
